Policy and Regulatory Support

• Provide expert analysis and recommendations on Responsible Business Conduct policies, ensuring alignment with OECD standards and guidance.
• Engage with government bodies to support the implementation and improvement of RBC-related regulations, especially those impacting multinational enterprises operating in Kazakhstan.

Stakeholder Engagement and Outreach

• Build and maintain effective relationships with various stakeholders, including government agencies, international organizations, businesses, and civil society groups, to foster understanding and adoption of the OECD Guidelines.
• Represent the NCP in meetings, forums, and conferences to enhance Kazakhstan’s commitment to and compliance with responsible business conduct.

Dispute Resolution and Mediation

• Facilitate dialogue and mediation between stakeholders, including enterprises, workers, and civil society, to resolve disputes and grievances related to the application of RBC standards.
• Provide guidance and mediation support to ensure transparent and fair handling of complaints in accordance with OECD standards.

Analytical and Advisory Services

• Conduct in-depth research and analysis on international best practices in RBC, focusing on OECD member states and successful regulatory frameworks.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and advisories for internal and external stakeholders on RBC trends, issues, and compliance requirements.

Training and Capacity Building

• Develop and deliver training programs and materials for local companies, government officials, and other stakeholders to promote RBC principles and compliance practices.
• Support capacity-building efforts within the NCP Secretariat to ensure efficient handling of inquiries and cases related to the OECD Guidelines.

Enhancing International Cooperation

• Spearhead initiatives to strengthen and expand Kazakhstan’s cooperation with the OECD, fostering alignment with international standards and best practices.

Coordination within SCO Think Tank Consortium

• Lead the coordination of Kazakhstan’s participation in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Think Tank Consortium, ensuring cohesive representation and strategic contributions to joint research efforts.

Research and Publication

• Contribute to and produce high-quality publications for the ECO Economic Journal and SCO collaborative research projects, providing in-depth analysis and insights on regional economic and policy issues.

Event Liaison and Representation

• Act as the guest liaison for key stakeholders during events such as the Astana International Forum 2023, facilitating smooth communication and positive engagement experiences.

Collaborative Engagement with Regional Organizations

• Partner with the Turkic Academy and the Organization of Turkic States to advance shared initiatives and regional projects, contributing to mutual goals and knowledge-sharing efforts.

Government Relations

• Engage and collaborate with governmental bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan, providing strategic support and expertise to enhance Kazakhstan’s involvement in international economic and policy frameworks.
